Alfonso B. Marcos, 95, of Keaau died May 31 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Banna, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines, he was a self-employed papaya farmer and a member of Keaau Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Visitation 6-7 p.m. Thursday (June 16) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel; Wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation again 8:30-10 a.m. Friday (June 17) at the chapel. Prayer service at 10 a.m. Casual attire. Burial at Homelani Memorial Park, Lehua section. Survived by sons, Juanito (Nellie) Marcos and Romeo (Emma) Marcos of Keaau; daughters, Helen Marcos of Keaau and Anita (Howard) Takara of Hilo; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.
